Who we are.
We’re Dr. Sarah Davis and Evie Granville, M.Ed., the creators of the Solar System Parenting Quiz & Framework, authors, best friends, and moms to seven young kids between our two families.
Sarah is a child development expert, who has worked with thousands of children ages 4 months to middle school. Her superpower is her empathy and creativity with children, as well as her ability to offer parents support without judgment.
Evie is a parenting thought leader and researcher whose experience in education, design, and politics gives her the ability to convey complex parenting philosophies and strategies with clarity.
We know there's no one-size-fits-all approach to raising kids. After all, why would a specific parenting strategy work for one parent and not another? Why do certain parts of parenting come more easily to some moms and dads?
